// Other questions

What is a concours d’elegance?

Traditionally, a “concours d’elegance” is an exhibition or contest, especially a parade of vintage or classic motor vehicles in which prizes are awarded for those in the best original condition. If that sounds a little stuffy, it is. Our annual car show is elegant, but definitely more casual. That’s why we removed the “d’elegance” part from our official name.

What happens if it rains on the day of the show?

It’s never rained on the day of the Chico Concours, but anything’s possible. Rain would cause cancellation of the event. In such a case, your vehicle entry fee would be refunded.

Is it okay to take pictures (or movies) of cars at the show?

Certainly! Click away. In fact, feel free to share your photos with us.

What is the People’s Choice Award, and how do I vote for it?

This is your chance to vote for the car you like best, regardless of what the judges think. People’s Choice Award ballots are available at the show, and voting typically ends around 2 PM. The winner receives a gorgeous trophy.
