Traditionally, the Chico Concours is comprised of two separate events. The official Chico Concours Show on Saturday, October 12, preceded by the Chico Concours Preview which is held the Friday evening before. You’re more than welcome to attend both events. Full details below.

A lot of people think car shows are just for snobs and “car guys” with nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon. That may be true for some events, but not here. Our show is known for being unpretentious, casual, and kid-friendly. Your entire family is welcome.

About Chico, California

The City of Chico was founded in 1860 by General John Bidwell and incorporated in 1872. The city has grown to over 33 square miles with a population of 101,475 (2020) in the incorporated area and a greater urbanized area population of approximately 110,000. Chico is located in the Northern Sacramento Valley of California, 90 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 99, in Butte County, east of Interstate 5.

The city is a cultural, economic, and educational center of the northern Sacramento Valley and home to both California State University, Chico and Bidwell Park, one of the country’s 25 largest municipal parks and the 13th largest municipally-owned park.

Other cities in close proximity to the Chico Metropolitan Area (population 212,000) include Paradise and Oroville, while local towns and villages (unincorporated areas) include Durham, Cohasset, Dayton, Hamilton City, Nord, and Forest Ranch. The Chico Metropolitan Area is the 14th largest Metropolitan Statistical Area in California.
